How did I end up here?

I get asked two questions all the time. The first is how did you decide to become an owner of a bio hazard cleaning company? The second question is how do you do it? Typically people are not asking how I became the owner of a Bio-One, they are asking how do you handle the job. How do you clean-up after a suicide, how do you deal with a hoarder, how do you deal with the aftermath of an unattended death

The first question is easy to answer. After 20 plus years in sales I needed to do something different. I was tired of pushing emails around. I was tired of trying to explain the benefits of the newest widget. I wanted something that would allow me to roll up my sleeves and work. I wanted something that when the work was done, I could see that I accomplished something. However most importantly, I wanted to make a difference. Bio-One's tag line is Help First Business Second, which fit my needs perfectly. Being the owner operator of a Bio-One allows me to get involved with people in my community who genuinely need help and that gives me more satisfaction than closing any sale I ever did.

When people ask how do you do it? What they really mean is how do you deal with it? I tell them I have specialized B.O.T.S. training to deal with the scene and I have great family and friends, and my French Bulldog, Truman, to help with the emotional aspect. However, knowing there is a family or individual that really needs my help is what allows me to do the job on a daily basis.

If you find yourself needing any of the services I offer, including hoarding clean ups, vehicle decontamination, bio-hazard cleaning and gross filth removal, contact me, Jason. As a locally-owned small business, I support our community and am available 24/7 to help you with your situation.
